Thermoshield Heat Shield Tape
Thermal reflective heat shield tape wrapping.
Woven fibreglass insulation with aluminium facing. Insulation is provided by the fibreglass, aluminium reflects the heat.
Often employed to wrap engine ancillaries to protect from radiant heat of exhaust etc and reflects over 90 percent of radiant heat away from wires, lines, cables, hoses, starter motors etc.
Excellent protective wrap for fuel lines, hoses, oil lines, brake lines or radiator hoses. Also helps to solve fuel vapourisation problems.
Withstands up to 1,100 degrees F of radiant heat and 500 degrees F of direct contact
50mm wide, 2mm thick.
Not for direct application to exhaust & manifolds (for manifold wrap see under exhaust section)
Easily installed with lockwire or stainless ties as below

Withstands temperatures of up to 1200F radiant heat, maintains cool lines
Easy to trim 4 ft (122cm) sleeve constructed of durable special composite material. Fits all fuel lines up to 1/2" diameter and up to 5/8" fittings. Includes strong heat resistant ties.

Size 6 ft by 4ft. 10mm thick
Insulates against under bonnet heat & sound.
Aluminiumised heat shield mat reflects over 90% of radiant heat.
Also supplies protection on transmission tunnels, bulkheads, floorpans etc

Cut with scissors, fix with alloy foil tape below or:
attatch with automotive aerosol glue
or double sided sticky pads

Aluminiumised self-adhesive heat shield mat reflects over 90% of radiant heat.
Also supplies protection on transmission tunnels, bulkheads, floorpans etc.
Cut with scissors. Very easy to apply but ensure surface is grease-free as nothing sticks to grease.
