Floscan 201A-6 Aviation Fuel Flow Transducer
Floscan senders are LAA and BMAA prefered
201A-6 Transducer part number 201-031-00
Flow range 1 - 115 litres per hour
K factor approx 9500 for litres per hour (Floscan test run each aviation unit and the actual K factor is provided on a label.)
Pressure drop is negligible at 15 litres per hour, so full fuel flow is maintained.
Max working pressure is 200 psi
Body is Die-cast aluminium, cadmium plated, weighs just 70 grams
Rotor is made from Nylon 6/12
Rotor pivot is Stainless Steel, Carpenter 420
Bearing life expectancy is 10,000hrs minimum
Requires 12 to 15 volts DC, 30 to 50 mA
This type of sender produces a current pulse signal from an opto-electronic pickup and the fuel flow can not be blocked if the turbine jams.
A comprehensive instruction manual is supplied showing how to hook up the sender to Stratomaster instruments. For a copy click HERE

FloScan 201A-6 Aviation sender and the NEW Stratomaster Infinity FF-1
The Infinity FF-1 fuel management computer fits in a conventional 2.25” panel hole and is intended for efficient monitoring of fuel flow.
The FF-1 unit can connect to one or two fuel flow senders, one or two fuel level senders or both. Full functionality is available with both senders or only with a fuel flow sender using calculated fuel levels based on fuel usage. Differential fuel flow calculations are also supported for fuel return systems. It will link to the NMEA output of a GPS receiver to give actual range based on ground speed. (See GPS Connection cable.)
Standard automotive fuel level senders can be used, even with odd shaped tanks thanks to a comprehensive, multi point calibration system.
In addition, the FF-1 can be connected via the airtalk protocol to an Infinity ASX-1 to determine range and endurance using the current fuel usage.

GPS Connection Cable for FF-1
The Infinity FF-1 has the ability to be connected to a NMEA enabled RS232 GPS receiver to allow the FF-1 to use the actual ground speed in determining the fuel range (See the Infinity FF-1 manual for more information).
The NMEA enabled RS232 GPS receiver must be able to output a GPRMC message (The Recommended Minimum sentence defined by NMEA for GPS/Transit system data.).
