Mahle Knecht KL 63 fuel filter
More than 140 engine and vehicle manufactures equip their engines with MAHLE engine components and filters as standard equipment - they are one of Europe's biggest filter manufacturers. This filter is large enough to cope with the fuel flow at full throttle, even in a 6 cylinder Jabiru engine.
Suitable for 6mm (1/4") and 8mm (5/16") fuel line.
TIP...The fuel filter should be changed every 100 hours, or every two years. As well as catching fine particles, it can, if there is any moisture in your fuel, provide a perfect habitat for a particular type of bacteria. The result, reduced fuel flow and consequent problems.

Sometimes called the "Mercedes type", this has a fine nylon mesh filter element.
Fits 8 mm (5/16") fuel line.
