Trees for Life Calendars and Diaries
Trees for Life 2008 Diary & Calendar - Trees For Life is an award-winning Scottish charity that aims to restore the native Caledonian Forest to a large area in the Scottish Highlands. During the last 16 years they have planted almost 600,000 native trees, and have protected remnants of the original forest, so that they can regenerate naturally, in the absence of overgrazing by deer and sheep. Through the charity’s work, barren landscapes have been transformed into healthy, young forest, complete with insects, birds, mosses and lichens etc. All this has been carried out by volunteers under expert guidance, and TFL’s long term vision is to restore the forest to an area of 600 square miles, and eventually to reintroduce the missing species of wildlife, such as beaver, wild boar and lynx, that are an essential part of the forest ecosystem. This project is particularly close to our heart. The diary and calendar are beautifully produced, with outstanding photographs of trees from every continent by some of the world’s finest nature photographers, and plenty of insightful information.
Both are printed on recycled paper containing 75% post-consumer waste. |

Pottery
These beautiful items of pottery are designed and hand made exclusively in the Findhorn Pottery Studio.
The Findhorn Sanctuary Candle Holders are perfect for holding larger candles and can be decorated with leaves and flowers. They are used in all our Sanctuaries and in many community homes.
The Findhorn Leaf Dishes can be used for holding smaller candles or tea lights, or as ornaments. The leaves are picked from the Findhorn gardens and are pressed into the clay for firing, leaving an impression of the original leaf.
As Candle Holders and Leaf Dishes are individually hand made, there may be some variation in size and colour. Flowers shown in photographs are not included. |

Candles
Since the early 1970s we have maintained close links with our sister Community on the Isle of Erraid, off the west coast of Scotland. The Erraid community members are skilled candlemakers, and their magnificent candles are used in all our Sanctuaries. Now you can use them too. |

Paintings
These beautiful limited edition prints have been made from original watercolour paintings by fine artist Jonathan Wheeler. They capture the spirit of three of the most recognised landmarks of the Findhorn Foundation Community; the Nature Sanctuary where people gather in meditation and for Taizé singing; the famous Whisky Barrel House, constructed from a reclaimed whisky vat; and the original Caravan where Peter and Eileen Caddy, their three children and friend Dorothy Maclean began the community in 1962.
Jonathan Wheeler MA has lived in Lancashire, Australia, Brazil and East Anglia. He has been painting landscape, still life and caricatures in watercolour for 10 years. He lives in Scotland in an eco-house. |
