The Quest
Author Joycelin Dawes, Janice Dolley, Ike Isaksen
Paperback, illustrated with diagrams and charts
A unique guide to the spiritual journey designed to help you find your own answers
CONTENT: What is your sense of soul? Although we may each understand the word differently, we treasure a sense of who we are, what it is to be alive and awareness of an inner experience and connection with "something more." In The Quest you explore this sense of soul through a regular practice based on skills of spiritual reflection and be reviewing the story of your life journey, your encounter with spiritual experience and your efforts to live in a sacred way.
Here you become the teller and explorer of your own story. You can find your own answers. You can deepen your spiritual life through the wisdom and insight of the world's religious traditions. You can revisit the building blocks of your beliefs and face the changes in your life. You can look more deeply at wholeness and connection and make your contribution to finding a new and better way.
The Quest was nurtured in The Findhorn Foundation and field-tested for years before being finalised. Now spread to 25 countries around the world, it is recognized as a unique, thorough grounding in the spiritual search, enabling the "Questor" to come from a neutral place and find their own answers.
Adapted from the home study course, this is the first publication in book form. It will be linked to and promoted by the latest of the Quest series of specials, A Passion for Life, due from PBS in March 2005, which have consistently captured top ratings and reached 90 million households across North America, as well as being broadcast in Europe and Israel. This series features leading and influential thinkers like Stephen Covey, Jane Goodall, Deepak Chopra, Thomas Moore, Gloria Steinem, Ram Dass, Marianne Williamson, Jean Houston, Erica Jong, Caroline Myss, Sam Keen and many others.
